A neighborhood visit

I had a fire in the fireplace and the snow was coming down when Henry Sessoms appeared at the door with a delicious tray of Christmas goodies, including Baklava.   He  came in and we visited and laughed and talked.   It was a fun time.   I love my neighbors;  the Sessoms, Margaret Dement, Felicia Fox and Judy Blankford.   We have been here together for years but most of the time, we congregate at the mail box.

We laughed at our long past together:   Henry was chair of English Dept and I was his daughter, Diedre's, scout leader.   The ties go on and on and they keep renewing themselves.

So in the meantime and in the morning, I am ready to choose which goody I will choose next!
