Lucas Presson and birthday breakfast

Went out this morning to birthday breakfast at  My Daddy's with Lucas.   I have known Lucas since he was born --knew his parents  - Janet Thompson Presson and Don Presson and knew his grandparents:  Bill and Edna Thompson from New Bethel area and Daddy's church.  Went to high school with his aunt and uncle:  Billy Thompson and Eleanor Sue Thompson Crowell.  So much for geneology.

Then Lucas came to work for me --biggest Republican around and we learned to stay off certain subjects --like his hero, Paul Ryan, today!   We have chosen to be family --He calls me "Grandma" and I like it.   He works for Southeast Missourian and edits the Good Time Section.   Today I had him answer three computer problems for me.  I save them up.

I wish Congress could emulate our relationship.  But, in the meantime, I am happy to have a local grandson who hugs me at every opportunity.   He makes me happy!
