I watch MSNBC most every night --one show after the other. Last night I paid attention to Rachel Maddow show. Cory Booker was her first guest and he is the Mayor of Newark. He said one statement that made me run for a pen: "When spiderwebs unite, they can tie up a lion!" I have no idea where that came from, or if it was original with him, but I like the possibility.
The discussion was the announcement about Gun Control with the president and the vice=president. Biden quoted someone named Steve Barton, "Don't let the perfect be the enemy of the good." Does anyone think that these measures will keep the massacre from ever happening again? No one that I know believes that but to do nothing, is far worse!
Then the discussion turned to all the shock-jocks and how they said what would get them attention! That is a sad state of affairs!
